About Geeky Tai-Tai

The true definition of a Tai-Tai can be found here… I obviously do not meet all of the criteria as I don’t like to shop, I don’t like going to tea, playing Mah Jong, nor does my husband own a bank. Yet, I do like the whole “Supreme of the supreme” part!
I lived in Singapore for more than 3 years and got very spoiled by the good life there living as an expat. Repatriation has been a huge adjustment for me, but I’m slowly getting back into my new life here in the U.S.
I do have lots of time to take road trips in MsMINI or the Azera with mah boyz (rescued Havanese bros, Clyde and Hunter). I volunteer for Havanese Rescue, Inc. I love new technology: Twitter, Facebook, Stickam, iPhones, MacBooks, Bose surround-sound systems, Ambilight HDTVs, and my Slingbox. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention that I love a Stella Artois or Kilkenney lager (where available) and vodka martinis.

It’s nice to know someone who shared experience. My name is Aminath( It’s not easy to spell. I know)I’m expat in Singapore. It’s my 3rd year here. I still am getting used to the posh-ness of the city. I was twitter searching and found you interesting. I followed you and here i am on your blog. Hope we become good ‘gossipers’ haha!
Nice to have met you

Hi Aminath! We loved living in Singapore and miss it a lot. Especially the food! You should definitely go to River Quay Seafood in Boat Quay. Tell Madame Irene I sent you. Mmmm!!!
