Hall and Oates
Last week was so exciting, not only was I the grand-prize winner of Dutch Bitch’s photo contest, I also won (courtesy of Way-Hot Husband, Mr. Geeky Tai-Tai) two VIP tickets to meet Hall and Oates! OMG! OMG! What am I going to wear??? Please help!
The concert is tonight at Chastain Park and includes:
- 2 tickets
- A personal “Meet & Greet” with Daryl and John
- 2 Passes to attend the band’s sound-check.
- A tour of backstage production area.
- An walk through a Hall & Oates Tour Bus.
- 2 Passes for dinner backstage at the venue with the band and crew.
Dave2 will probably tease me at TC’09 next week because I’ve blipped Hall & Oates about a jillion times. That’s OK, I’m going to be on Cloud 9. I just hope I don’t faint or get food on my boobies. OMG!

Way-Hot Husband gets 100,000 more points for that little gift. Soon he’ll be able to get a free roundtrip airline ticket!

We went to a Hall and Oates concert in the fall of 2002 — I remember the time because the baby, apparently, was kicking and moving around quite a bit to the music. We had pretty decent seats.

Argh – didn’t finish the comment! In front of us were a bunch of women who looked like they were in their late teens. All of them wore pink “Maneater” t-shirts which were several sizes too small. And they were in total teenybopper mode for the H&O. Twas quite surreal…

The last time I saw Hall & Oates in concert was back in 1984 in Chicago. They were awesome, and I just know Darryl Hall winked at me
I think I’ll pass on the teenybopper attire. It’s been too long since I was one.
I think you should post a couple of pictures of what you’re considering so we can decide from that.
I wish I had more time to do that. I’ve gotta go get my mani-pedi since I can’t have janked up feet for these guys.
