New Year, New Life, New Blog
Thanks to a lot of help from friends, I’m starting this new blog along with my new life as a repatriated American. It’s taken me a good six months to get in the mood to do this, and actually feel like writing the goofy stuff that I usually write.
My good friend, NYC Watchdog made a list of his Top 10 Personal Bloggers for 2008 – he’s a great list-maker. I read everyone of the bloggers on that list. OK, not every single day because I’ve not been gifted with the speed-reading talents of Dave2 and Avitable, BUT I read them, and I keep up with them on Twitter.
One blogger on that list has become my Geeky Hero because he donated his talents to help me get this blog started. I truly can’t thank Wayne enough for his heroic geekiness! Wayne got my domain and hosting straightened out, set up this template, and refused to accept any money for his efforts. That didn’t feel right to me (Mom and Dad raised me up right). Then Wayne said that he just wanted to support a good cause… “Keep Mike in Beer”.
